He'll never get over just how satisfying a sound that enemies made when he sent them flying across a room-- just enough crunch to know it's a hard hit, but not so much that it gets gross. The bar is located in a part of Jumanji meant to look like South America, but really, Spencer tends to think it looks more like the inside of an Islands Burgers or something. But it's not Spencer doing the henchmen-tossing, it's Dr. Smolder Bravestone, all six-foot-three mountain of muscle, an avatar that by now feels like a second skin. Now that the game isn't trying to kill them, and ever since Alex figured out how to make it work online, it's been their personal open-world playground and the perfect place to escape or vent their real world problems.

Except, maybe, the one where Spencer is really, really missing having his girlfriend in the same city on nights like this where he's, well, freaking horny.

There's a crash from behind Smolder, and he spins to watch two more henchmen falling behind the bar after having been kicked over it and into the racks of bottles by the talented (and very long) legs of his teammate, Ruby Roundhouse. Smolder gives the redhead a nod and a smirk, while Spencer grins, knowing that behind the gorgeous avatar is his knockout of a girlfriend, Martha.

With all their attackers laying in various heaps, Smolder crosses the room, being careful out of habit to step over the bodies. "Nice one," he tells Ruby, "I know you were having some trouble getting that combo just right."

Long distance relationships absolutely suck. But not as much as not having Martha in his life at all, as he'd learned the hard way, so if phone calls, texts, FaceTime, and now adventures in Jumanji were how they kept things going, then it would all be worth it.

When she stepped into him, he wrapped his arms around her immediately, hugging her tight-- but not too tight, since in the game Smolder Bravestone could crack a coconut against his biceps, he'd checked. Ruby Roundhouse fit against him in a different way that Martha fit against Spencer, but he loved the feeling all the same.

In fact... he was loving the feeling a lot. Especially when she touched his arm, something that made him shiver just a little.

"Hey, uh... with all the patching and improvements we've made to the game... you don't think it supports-- you know-- mature content?"

Ruby blinked, taken off guard for a moment by his question. It wasn't that she hadn't thought about it - Smolder Bravestone was basically sex on a stick - but she'd never let herself linger too long on the thought. It felt like a disservice to Spencer, especially since his confidence had been so tied to the game for a while.

But if he'd been thinking about it...

She looked up at him and offered a nervous smile.

"I...don't know. Maybe we should...test it out?"

"Really?!"

The exclamation-- almost a squeak, really-- was pretty laughable coming out of the moving mountain that was Dr. Smolder Bravestone. But inside of that avatar, Spencer surprised even himself with how excited he was at the prospect. The game's designers (if that's what you'd call whoever or whatever created a magic video game) had built Ruby Roundhouse in the long tradition of super-sexy adventure heroines, starting from legs a mile long and going from there.

But after all this time, Spencer saw Martha standing in front of him in the game just as much as Ruby, so he definitely felt this was a lot more about getting to sleep with his girlfriend for the first time in too long than it was about her beautiful avatar. Okay, maybe it was a little about that.

Since Martha was game, though, Spencer figured why not go for it. Pulling her closer, he leaned down, closing the gap and kissing her. Tentative at first, then when nothing seemed to glitch, he went for more.
